Finding inspiration to keep you motivated to finish your collection, or the project you started with so much passion.colour, scale, product mockups
1. Start Simple to Get Momentum
It's ok to start simple, you don't need to create 8-12 pattern to build your first collection. Just start with 4 patterns and call it a mini-collection that includes one hero print, one secondary print, and two blender prints.
2. Look Out for Inspiration
Think what moves you right now, which story you would like to tell visually, or what comes to your mind when you think of your last visit to the movie theatre.
To pick a theme for your collection, start collecting objects in your home such us travel gifts that remind you of your last trip or just scroll through the photographs on your phone to get started. Why don't have a cup of coffee in your favourite coffee shop and get inspired by the wall decorations, people you meet and observations you make.
Take a sketchbook with you to make notes and little sketches of things and thoughts you gather during your visit.
Look through magazines and books in your local library to see what makes you curious and motivated to put a collection together.
Go for a walk, make pictures and collect objects you find along the way.
3. Create a Mood Board

You can create a traditional board with collected photographs, sketches, forages etc. or a digital version.
